This is my dear friend Chuck. Bobby you captured Chuck so well. He always looked directly into my eyes; He was such a devoted pal. I miss him but the painting I shall cherish for my lifetime.

Sorry Kate, no new Christmas card designs this year. I’m spending most of my energy getting portrait commissions done for Christmas and trying to get the drawings for my book done by the end of January. But thanks for the compliments.

Oh my god, I LOVE that painting of the 2 labs– the way you caught the details of the rug and the light streaming in is awesome. I would give you $10 for that picture! I would recommend to include that type of light reflection in all your portraits. Well done.

OK so feedback from the cards was awesome. People wanted to know where to get them, if sold as packs, etc. So I say get working on next year’’s now. Strategizing where you could market them. Visit shops, etc, market website more. What is happening to the blog– no entries for 2 months. What are you working on? CN

FYI- I have been meaning to tell you the rave reviews I have received after sending out your Christmas cards. Thought the artist should be aware. I also would mention that you may want to consider a different marketing strategy. If you have another card next year you could package them and have them for sale– that Thomas Dunlay has an open house at his house every year and sends out invitations and has a poster advertisement in Westwood center. Something to think about– congratulations on an awesome card !!
